First floorball games at Ngee Ann City

Upon the first introduction of floorball to Singapore, floorball became a steady growing sport in Singapore. In order to further boost the popularity of floorball in Singapore, the first Ngee Ann Event was organised. It was held at Ngee Ann city, with Ericsson as the main sponsor for the event. It was a huge success as it attracted an estimate of 60,000 spectators during the weekend, which made further Ngee Ann events possible.
