Started by Filip and Stefan, the Moose Floorball Club is the most successful floorball club in Singapore, by far. Known as “ The Team That Never Lost”, the Moosettesz won every championship title in Singapore. Not only were they recognised in Singapore because of their extraordinary players, they also caught the attention of international players as well as cable channels such as MTV. During the tour, the Moosettesz stayed in the home of the Dahlgren family, where Inger and Sten Dahlgren cooked every meal for the players, and the girls even got to share a Swedish Christmas with them!
During the tour, a series of unexpected events took place. First, Ericsson sponsored an entire bus especially for the tour. The bus was well decorated with the flags of both Sweden and Singapore, and the sides of the bus were also filled with rainbows together with the words “Singapore Floorball Champions” in Swedish, English and Mandarin. Next, the Moosettesz had beaten a Swedish team, and finally, triumphing yet again, over a Finnish team Before the Moosettesz, no Asian team had beaten a European team. Obviously, news sites across Europe became interested in the underdog team that took the floorball scene by storm.
The Moosettesz had made the Little Red Dot even more popular in the floorball world.
